A circa 1870 bronze 6-arm gaselier by Cornelius and Sons of Philadelphia. This is by far the finest Cornelius Renaissance-era gaselier we have ever owned. We actually have a copy of a Cornelius catalog from the period illustrating this exceptional fixture. The ornate incised decoration on the arms, risers, and corona is superb. This gaselier is in mint original condition, and still retains some of its original gilt finish. We have fitted it with a set of fine period 2 5/8" inch cut and etched gas shades. Approximate dimensions as pictured are: 30" in width/diameter by 36" in length.
