A lovely English Circa 1900 Arts and Crafts Oversize hanging Lantern. Fitted with Original Powell satin glass cylinder in opalescent and Vaseline graded glass that fades to a rare peachy/salmon color at one end. Composition is brass with a copper plate. This can be patinated dark or kept bright as it was clearly polished in the not too distant past. Extensive cut outs of spades and hearts and highly detailed rivets. This can be used as an exterior lantern or an interior Pendant.

Dimensions: 15" tall as shown, 9.5" in width at roof.

An all original American Gothic Exterior Gas Lantern. This is oversize and quite impressive. Only one of the original panes of glass have survived but we have some wonderfu hand rolled glass to replace the panes with. Composition is Iron. Circa 1870. This is the only exterior light circa 1870 we have ever had in inventory in over 25 years of selling fine antique lighting. It retained its original gas fitting and burner, we can rewire for electricity or you can burn gas.

Dimensions: 26" tall, just the lantern, can be lengthened as required, 9.75".

They are in great condition with the exception of two small holes in the glass that will be repaired; which is not structural and not even visible once assembled and hanging. Truely a remarkable set.
